The audience was convinced that Mats Linqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yao Guang Chao was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Bernardino Gaztea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yaji FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Linqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maximiliano Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Linqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Yaji FC's Man Chester made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Orlando Lixandro with Generoso Lucado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 70th minute Mats Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Guang Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaji FC's Kryspin Ziemba was substituted for Man Chester. Yaji FC's Hector Herauso was substituted for Maximiliano Feliu. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Elvis Crespo was substituted for Mats Linqvist. Delmar Tavio made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Valeryan Bochkin. If Kryspin Ziemba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Herauso struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Florencio Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaji FC.
