La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Man Tas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén-Darío Feldmann came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Man Tas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sebastián Battaglia struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Tobias Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Candela FC. In the 35th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Man Tas made a kick off. Sarmiento de Resistencia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
