Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. Maximino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Canalla Fuego's Ricky Kalischer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Aimar in the 28th minute of play forced TIBURON F.C's goalkeeper Maximino Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Carlos Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Kalischer in the 31st minute of play. Clemente Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Justin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Canalla Fuego got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Paraíba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Justin in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Llorenc in the 41st minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, TIBURON F.C's Paco Sancho got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aristides Villanueva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Maximino Merexildo made a huge save. Clemente Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Aristides Villanueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Aimar to make the kick off. Canalla Fuego's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Paco Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Benvido, making the score, 1-1. 56 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Justin. TIBURON F.C were furious when Kacper Bejgier was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in TIBURON F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Canalla Fuego a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Aimar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TIBURON F.C's Maximino Merexildo. 2-1. In the 76th minute TIBURON F.C were awarded a corner. Benigno Corderro went to the cornerflag to take it. Benigno Corderro made a great header on TIBURON F.C's corner, it was just that Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido managed to reach the ball for a save. 78 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Sancho came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Llorenc in the 81st minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Paco Sancho sped through Canalla Fuego's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Benvido. Paco Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Carolo Llorenc reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Benvido. The goal made the score 2-4. If Enzo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The TIBURON F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TIBURON F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
