Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Catranides in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Serafim Catranides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Montel was a little too slow when Alfonso Gilabert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Pintér in the 17th minute of play. Serafim Catranides struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Desiderio Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Ángel Gris. When Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerasimos Tzanetakos hit a great ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Village Saint Charles FRC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bernard Ochabski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Leo Unzaga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Gilabert in the 58th minute of play forced Village Saint Charles FRC's goalkeeper Desiderio Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luiz da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The Village Saint Charles FRC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Defensores del Ángel Gris from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
