An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Romildo in the 35th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Gilabert came free, but Kleopas Plouffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Elequemedo. Uriel Chorche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gogo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute of the match Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Romildo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cesar Romildo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche did a great save. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Sazon in the 73rd minute of play. Gogo Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Uriel Chorche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Defensores de Mar de Ajó made a substitution. Slimane Faudel replaced Blas Giunta. 87 minutes into the game, William Gijselinckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Mar de Ajó the free kick.
