Zheng Jing Feng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Velasco having to make a save. Evaristo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Jing Feng in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Barrilete Cósmico FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Rencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Zheng Jing Feng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Velasco was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Jing Feng in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Velasco saved Cachiyuyo EAS from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zheng Jing Feng couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Rencio struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Işık Günay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachiyuyo EAS. Barrilete Cósmico FC made a substitution.
