In the 12th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hauk Hareide came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Castel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Hareide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Hauk Hareide made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Salvidor. Menchu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Carlos Campelo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Frédéric Chopin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hauk Hareide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amado Filipo made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dariusz Motyl immediately put the ball in play. Camilo Salvidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hauk Hareide in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Peli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Peli. Silvestre Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. La Bichineta's Carolo Abancens was substituted for Hauk Hareide. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Bichineta made a substitution. Timoteo Izel replaced Sun Yuan Zheng. Carolo Abancens struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Camilo Salvidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Bichineta. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Felix Castel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Bichineta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Peli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Felix Castel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Salvidor. The goal made the score 2-3. 92 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abancens came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Gabriele Batistuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The La Bichineta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
