Santiago Cachorro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Aybek Orcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Figueroa came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Teodosio Figueroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lagrima en Jarrita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ismael Iglesias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Loco Malo. Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Aybek Orcun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Loco Malo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fernando Ciano charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Ciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lagrima en Jarrita's Lu Bin Cheng was substituted for Ma Mo Feng. Lagrima en Jarrita's Leonello Messias was substituted for Teodosio Figueroa. Lu Bin Cheng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to make a save. 70 minutes into the game, one of Marlin FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lu Bin Cheng walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 74 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Karanowski. Loco Malo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Linus Fredriksson's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Llorian in the 78th minute of the match. Linus Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonello Messias went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Llorian in the 85th minute. Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 86th minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Bin Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Dalmacio Llorian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. In the 98th minute, Lagrima en Jarrita's Leonello Messias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4.
