With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Amor came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru. But to his dismay, Nestor Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Daniel Navarro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Skager. The crowd rose to their feet as Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venancio Cristofol. That made the score 1-2 after 18 minutes of play. Venancio Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dževad Kasimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 24th minute of play. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dževad Kasimović in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Josef Krumbacher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidad de Matanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timo! the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Krumbacher to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Cihat Canbek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timo! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 36th minute Cihat Canbek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yannick Bartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Zemeckis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ilie Hurmuz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Timo!'s zone, Nestor Bâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Amor came out of the goal and Nestor Bâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Bâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filiph Asplund made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ilie Hurmuz however managed to control. Tiburcio Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Lotfi Ziadi. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Maarten Aelbrecht replaced Yannick Bartz. Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno was substituted for Nestor Bâru. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Skager came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Skager in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Skager in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Timo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Bastia to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Aelbrecht in the 68th minute of the match. Venancio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Hurmuz in the 70th minute of the match. Elpidio Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Elpidio Amor in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Ergo Are put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Daniel Navarro hit a great ball. Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dževad Kasimović in the 87th minute of play. Elpidio Amor made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Michal Stehno sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Stehno in the 93rd minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Elpidio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maarten Aelbrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Amor having to interfere. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Unidad de Matanza had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
