After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Melchor Oidor got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maarten Aelbrecht to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Unidad de Matanza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marlin FC.
