Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Timo!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar Okopny took the corner. Timo!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nestor Bâru scored to the left of an out of position Elpidio Amor, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 22nd minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izydor Karbowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ilie Hurmuz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol. Venancio Cristofol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Lotfi Ziadi could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Elpidio Amor however easily saved by the left post. After 32 minutes Timo!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Okopny who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Yannick Bartz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Timo!'s Elpidio Amor did a great save. Unidad de Matanza's Yannick Bartz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Bâru came free, but Elpidio Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihat Canbek in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 38th minute of play. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 45th minute of play. Venancio Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Canbek in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dževad Kasimović made a kick off. Cihat Canbek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Venancio Cristofol made a huge save. Dževad Kasimović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Unidad de Matanza's Maarten Aelbrecht was substituted for Yannick Bartz. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Michal Stehno replaced Nestor Bâru. Venancio Cristofol was a little too slow when Dževad Kasimović got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 79th minute Maarten Aelbrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Dževad Kasimović came free, but Venancio Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Timo! defense, Máximo Kirchner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Amor. The Timo! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Amor should have stopped the shot. Elpidio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Aelbrecht in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Timo! booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarten Aelbrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo!'s Ilie Hurmuz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unidad de Matanza. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Timo! eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
