Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Aires in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. In the 8th minute of the match, Dionisio Panpili tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walmir Catarinense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Panpili got free with Walmir Catarinense in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dionisio Panpili hit a great ball. 18 minutes in the game Melchor Oidor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dionisio Panpili. In the 21st minute of the match, Linus Fredriksson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walmir Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Aires in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Carlos Alvarez saved Marlin FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rene Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Alvarez was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute of the match Loco De Remate got a corner. Marlin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Virila ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Loco De Remate's corner Feliciano Iratxo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Carlos Alvarez quite easily take care of the ball. Dionisio Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmir Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Aires made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Hıdır Namal replaced Feliciano Iratxo. Roberto Calixto got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aybek Orcun. 59 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez got control of the ball when Rene Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loco De Remate were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Marlin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leandro Virila took the corner. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Dionisio Panpili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmir Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Loco De Remate's Baškim Sumulikovski was substituted for Bruno Medero. In the 83rd minute of the match, Clodoveo Christobal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Carlos Alvarez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marlin FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Virila was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco De Remate's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Loco De Remate's Leandro Virila to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Carlos Alvarez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Arixo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fermin Arixo hit a great ball. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Clodoveo Christobal sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marlin FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loco De Remate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
