An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Monte in the 3rd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 5th minute of play. Diego Quetara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Camilo Salvidor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor got control of the ball when Diego Quetara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Quetara came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 27th minute of play forced Boulogne del Ciclón's goalkeeper Daniel Moron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Monte in the 29th minute of the match. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Quetara in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Gabrio. 36 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Moron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boulogne del Ciclón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdoulay Doucouré was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Boulogne del Ciclón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Linhares hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gabriele Batistuta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Moron came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriele Batistuta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, Gabriele Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Moron was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Boulogne del Ciclón's Berto Somiedo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Boulogne del Ciclón's Berto Somiedo. But to his dismay, Berto Somiedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berto Somiedo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Berto Somiedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berto Somiedo in the 86th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Silverio Sergi got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Boulogne del Ciclón booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berto Somiedo in the 94th minute of play. Daniel Moron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 96th minute of the match. The Menchu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menchu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
