Michal Stehno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Silvestre Peli made a huge save. Michal Stehno came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvestre Peli could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 15th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Kirchner scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Peli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Okopny in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Waldemar Okopny went to the cornerflag to take it. Unidad de Matanza's Lenni Skensved was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvestre Peli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Silvestre Peli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Unidad de Matanza's Venancio Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Castel in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Filipo to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Okopny. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Carolo Abancens made the kick off in the second half.
