The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Horacio Librado got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Burdzel kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Natan Vercalsteren got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Peep Pronk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Porfiro got free with Qin Fan Sheng in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ZORZAL01's attentive Pavel Nedvěd managed to snatch the ball when Pancho Branca made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng got control of the ball when Matias Porfiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Qin Fan Sheng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 40th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peep Pronk in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qin Fan Sheng saved ZORZAL01 from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. ZORZAL01's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pancho Branca ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Tolek Chazen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 51st minute of play. Peter Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Alvaro Errando replaced Peep Pronk. 58 minutes into the game, Pavel Nedvěd threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC LeX Luthor's Matias Porfiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Qin Fan Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Errando, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 66th minute of play. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Peter Crouch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alvaro Errando scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qin Fan Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Marquez notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng. Qin Fan Sheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AC LeX Luthor were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
