But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Kelemen couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Super Penalitop's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Kelemen came free, but Carlos Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Claris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Kelemen's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Idacio in the 20th minute of play forced Super Penalitop's goalkeeper Carlos Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Claris came out of the goal and Teofilo Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Super Penalitop players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CAM Football Club were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Idacio made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Santiago Marquez could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Carlos Claris however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute, Jonas Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Drogba in the 81st minute of the match. Andres Drogba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Marquez in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
