In the 3rd minute, Vito Genovese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Casimiro Ugutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silas de Andrade. Los Hornos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Ugutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Corrêa. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Oodo Rosin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nouvelle Vague's Vicky Donda did a great save. After 21 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silas de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicky Donda made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dário Prada sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Dário Prada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hornos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 30 minutes in the game Justino Amato did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucas Staff. 34 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silas de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Paulo Renato Corrêa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dário Prada scored 2-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicky Donda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Amato to maneuver through the defense. Los Hornos's Silas de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Prada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oodo Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicky Donda having to interfere. Nouvelle Vague made a substitution. Osmar Vale replaced Vito Genovese. Vicky Donda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nouvelle Vague's Paulo Renato Corrêa got a free kick in the 76th minute. Los Hornos's Jaime Veronica was substituted for Gene Simmons. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Hancock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Henrico in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Nouvelle Vague fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Henrico in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luis Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silas de Andrade was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Silas de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Henrico went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score.
