Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 6th minute of play. Serafin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Xepe Godan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ter Stefanek. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xepe Godan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Atilano Idacio hit a great ball. Erhan Sarıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Bernal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ter Stefanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Godan in the 20th minute of the match. Stamen Tekeliev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Bernal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konrad Dylla in the 32nd minute. The throw-in from Natalio Gagriel in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Erhan Sarıoğlu. After 43 played minutes CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Frasquito. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonny Saran hit a great ball. After the first half Talleres de Escalada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Stamen Tekeliev made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Sarıoğlu in the 59th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stefanek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Acuña in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek got control of the ball when Marcos Acuña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Fiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Bernal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Fiz ran back to his position shaking his head. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Enio Coelho was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. 73 minutes into the game, Thibault Moon threw the ball into play from the sideline. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Julian Casado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 74 minutes into the match, Edward Huyghebaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Bernal. Talleres de Escalada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Huyghebaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 82 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Sarıoğlu came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Sarıoğlu in the 83rd minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xepe Godan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ter Stefanek made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Enio Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Bernal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 96th minute Thibault Moon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Enio Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's protests and gave Enio Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. Enio Coelho hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talleres de Escalada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
