The Nouvelle Vague fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Benedicto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolás Tauber made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Casimiro Ugutz sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Tauber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goliath Pelusi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Vicky Donda 92 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
