After a defensive mix-up in ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xie Bang Ang came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, Hernan Lano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soroca F.C. and the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernan Lano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 10th minute of play. Xie Bang Ang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Etxatxu got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Tartalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gustavo Tartalo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang did a great save. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Bang Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Soroca F.C.'s corner Gustavo Tartalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xie Bang Ang quite easily take care of the ball. Florentino Berasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Berasko came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Gonzales in the 29th minute of play. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xie Bang Ang having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Xie Bang Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Haimar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Xie Bang Ang came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Soroca F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Berasko was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Emilio Gonzales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. Soroca F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Gonzales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Emilio Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Romulo Thomas replaced Gustavo Tartalo. In the 60th minute, Emilio Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Polo in the 64th minute of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Robert Haegg replaced Florentino Berasko. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Guaberto Matro was substituted for Emilio Polo. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Venceslao in the 68th minute. Robert Haegg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Wennerqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Răzvan Necula sped through ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xie Bang Ang. In the 96th minute, Hugo Chávez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Necula. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
