The corner was taken by Arnaldo Perpinya in the 4th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalie and right to Tytus Lepper. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Otterlei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Perpinya was slow to take the kick. During this time La Cosa Nostra's players had a chance to rest. Teofilo Benvide made a great header on La Cosa Nostra's corner, it was just that Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni managed to reach the ball for a save. Franky Dhondt came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joel Delfino could save by the left post. Julio Falcioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Otterlei's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Hans Otterlei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Falcioni was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franky Dhondt got free with Joel Delfino in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Hans Otterlei notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni. Julio Falcioni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half La Cosa Nostra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franky Dhondt was the one to do the kick off. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhondt in the 68th minute of the match. Marciano Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Julio Falcioni made a huge save. Marciano Bizen hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Joel Delfino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Back's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Cardo Ruso Cordobés defense, Marciano Bizen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Falcioni. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Falcioni should have stopped the shot. The La Cosa Nostra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
