Kang Ying Hai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 5th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Kang Ying Hai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute Ricardo Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kang Ying Hai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kang Ying Hai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 11th minute. Valentin Geambașu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Kang Ying Hai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Torres in the 12th minute. Aldo Mannie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikolaj Giertych's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Ripa FC defense, Mikolaj Giertych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Mannie. The Ripa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Mannie should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Bochini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Kang Ying Hai made a huge save. After the first half ..Villa Rugby Club.. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ripa FC made a substitution. Joel Tehas replaced Ricardo Bochini. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gu Chang Peng made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Smith Wigglesworth notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Kang Ying Hai. Kang Ying Hai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ripa FC's Alvaro Jakes was substituted for Placido Pero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gu Chang Peng in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kang Ying Hai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Carlos Saúl Menem took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aldo Mannie to make any attempt to save it. Kang Ying Hai came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng. But to his dismay, Gu Chang Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gu Chang Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kang Ying Hai having to make a save. Kang Ying Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the ..Villa Rugby Club.. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ripa FC.
