Willie Colon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Anselmo Furlan made a huge save. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Héctor Lavø hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, AYYILDIZ's Alp Arslan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chuan Cintron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AYYILDIZ reached it. Anselmo Furlan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Willie Colon sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, AYYILDIZ's Anselmo Furlan got control of the ball when Oscar De León tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar De León made a kick off. Anselmo Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar De León, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Celio Cruz in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AYYILDIZ's Alp Arslan. Atlético Municipal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AYYILDIZ for a fine match.
