In the 11th match minute, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. René Stam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gavino Gabino's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Peker Kazak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Las Palmas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Montes was slow to take the kick. During this time NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's corner Celedonio Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and René Stam quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Agustin Serafo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Cayetano Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Quintun made a great header on Las Palmas's corner, it was just that NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Claudinho Taffarel managed to reach the ball for a save. 26 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Gabino. The shot was a little too simple and René Stam could save by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peker Kazak came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Esdras in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Gavino Gabino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Gabino was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dawid Cholewa. After some careless play in the NANANANA LIIIDEER FC defense, Peker Kazak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Taffarel. The NANANANA LIIIDEER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peker Kazak, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Claudinho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cayetano Esdras sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Celedonio Montes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celedonio Montes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NANANANA LIIIDEER FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celedonio Montes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Celedonio Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when 秦西星 sped through NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudinho Taffarel. Peker Kazak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 85th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Hartz in the 89th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Stam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Hartz went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The NANANANA LIIIDEER FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Las Palmas's performance. The match ended with a win for Las Palmas.
