The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tasos Brizolakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Barck in the 6th minute. Ricardo Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Göransson having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Maximino Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vodka Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximino Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasos Brizolakos made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jörn Barck sent off a good shot on target. Tasos Brizolakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Magdziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Maximino Veronica made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Göransson. BK Tåfjutt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Maximino Veronica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Maximino Veronica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Göransson. BK Tåfjutt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Veronica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ricardo Gomez scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Göransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Maximino Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Maximino Veronica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Göransson. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Veronica in the 52nd minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Leonard Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vodka Juniors's Herminio Cordairo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karol Magdziarz in the 64 minute of the game. Maximino Veronica might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Göransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Veronica ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Bartuelo to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes of play, Vodka Juniors's Placido Polo made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonard Göransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Magdziarz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Brizolakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tasos Brizolakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörn Barck went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Placido Polo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Göransson. BK Tåfjutt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Polo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. Vodka Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
