After 11 played minutes, GFK Osogovo's Ivar Askelöf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GFK Osogovo reached it. The GFK Osogovo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Migjen Mena in the 30th minute of play. Jerzy Cetnar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Boca Juniors fc's Ryszard Kaczanek got control of the ball when Cezary Sawicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Hitzeder in the 66th minute of play forced Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, GFK Osogovo's Ryszard Kaczanek threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Migjen Mena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cezary Sawicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ryszard Kaczanek made a huge save. Borys Lodowy was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. Venko Sitnikovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Albano Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Migjen Mena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GFK Osogovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Migjen Mena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anier Eutor came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Boca Juniors fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Eutor couldn't finish the play. GFK Osogovo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
