After 5 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Arnie Mcquoid. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lukita Modrić hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Peker Durusoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tab, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Mauricio Manuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Fagondo. Tricolor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Manuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Marchidan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 王竞耀 saved Talleres from getting behind. 王竞耀 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Gil in the 27th minute of the match. Paulo Bolas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Mauricio Manuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Fagondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tricolor the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Manuelo was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Tricolor's 王竞耀 threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Luzea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Luzea came free, but 王竞耀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Talleres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tricolor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
