Oliver Bierhoff hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boca Juniors fc booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Tsirikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors fc's Ernesto Abella shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Thodoris Tabakis but with some difficulty. If Oliver Bierhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RO Army V55's Thodoris Tabakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Flores in the 14th minute of play. If Albano Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Boca Juniors fc's Albano Flores in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RO Army V55's goalie prevented a goal. Fanis Kapernekas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Thodoris Tabakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 25th minute. Anier Eutor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Thodoris Tabakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Flores in the 29th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Thodoris Tabakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Anier Eutor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thodoris Tabakis, 1-0. Ryszard Kaczanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Pantelatos in the 42nd minute of play. If Iosif Pantelatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Oliver Bierhoff made the kick off in the second half. Thodoris Tabakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Oliver Bierhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Pantelatos in the 59th minute of play forced Boca Juniors fc's goalkeeper Ryszard Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Tabakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 60th minute of play. Thodoris Tabakis came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors fc's Albano Flores. But to his dismay, Albano Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gerasimos Patsionidis's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasimos Patsionidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Gerasimos Patsionidis got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Gerasimos Patsionidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Kapernekas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ismael Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boca Juniors fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RO Army V55 for a fine match.
