Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caimin McWill kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Berkley Bayes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilmaley AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gabhran Utd the free kick. In the 6th minute, Berkley Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kilmaley AFC's Caimin McWill got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Gabhran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Branigan Ghee. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Caimin McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmaley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caimin McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ros Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brannagh Bayes scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ailill Moran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Kilmaley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bannon McNamee came free, but Ailill Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Caimin McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmaley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caimin McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ros Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ailill Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannagh Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Gabhran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bradaigh McJohnny. After 30 minutes of play, Kilmaley AFC's Caimin McWill made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ros Ramsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ros Ramsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caimin McWill in the 35th minute. Bannon McNamee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ailill Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Begg Duggan in the 39th minute of play. Gabhran Utd's Ros Ramsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gabhran Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Brannagh Bayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brannagh Bayes took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ailill Moran. Ailill Moran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brannagh Bayes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Caimin McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilmaley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caimin McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braeden Jameson's late challenge caught a Gabhran Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braeden Jameson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Kilmaley AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bannon McNamee fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 61 played minutes Kilmaley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brenda McBrand. A collision led to Kilmaley AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Caimin McWill hit a great ball. When Caimin McWill got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Kilmaley AFC. Kilmaley AFC's Caimin McWill got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Bannon McNamee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ailill Moran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Bannon McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Kilmaley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Brannagh Bayes came free, but Ailill Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kilmaley AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Brenda McBrand hit a great ball. Ailill Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannagh Bayes in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Brannagh Bayes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ailill Moran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 91 minutes into the match, Brannagh Bayes notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Kilmaley AFC's Ailill Moran. Ailill Moran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Gabhran Utd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kilmaley AFC throughout the match.
