An unexpectedly hard shot by Brannagh Bayes in the 24th minute of play forced Barca Lech's goalkeeper Ignacy Drapinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Gabhran Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Gecionis came free, but Ros Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ros Ramsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pawel Gecionis's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Gecionis made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Gabhran Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bowie Crowe. Barca Lech's Ignacy Drapinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bannon McNamee in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute Brannagh Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Drapinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bowie Crowe during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Bowie Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gabhran Utd's zone, Pawel Gecionis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ros Ramsey came out of the goal and Pawel Gecionis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Tworek hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ignacy Drapinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bannon McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boguslaw Biskupiak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ros Ramsey firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Bowie Crowe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Gabhran Utd's Bowie Crowe got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Boguslaw Biskupiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Klement Rakoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Barca Lech's zone, Bannon McNamee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Drapinski came out of the goal and Bannon McNamee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bannon McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ros Ramsey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barca Lech eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
