Tobantirenda's Laureano Osmundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tobantirenda from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Şuşa MKT getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Şärif Daşdıyev hit a great ball. Räsul Äsädli came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Tobantirenda's Aurelio Jaizki. But to his dismay, Aurelio Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Jesus Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tobantirenda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Guillelmus couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Aurelio Jaizki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tobantirenda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Tobantirenda's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Eyvazov came free, but Laureano Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Aureliano Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobantirenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Figueroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Şärif Daşdıyev. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Şuşa MKT's goalkeeper Räsul Äsädli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Jesus Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobantirenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Guillelmus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Jaizki made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Müşfiq Sadixov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Osmundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 60 minutes into the match, Tobantirenda's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Eyvazov came free, but Laureano Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes, Tobantirenda's Alfonso Salomon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Räsul Äsädli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tobantirenda reached it. In the 86thth minute of the game Aurelio Jaizki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Şuşa MKT's Räsul Äsädli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Şuşa MKT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
