Bartosz Babickis short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Räsul Äsädli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şärif Daşdıyev during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barca Lech booed when Şuşa MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şärif Daşdıyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Räsul Äsädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Kowalski in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barca Lech's Marian Tworek got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ignacy Drapinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müşfiq Sadixov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Edmund Kowalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barca Lech's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Kowalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Räsul Äsädli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartosz Babicki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Räsul Äsädli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Şuşa MKT's Räsul Äsädli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Kowalski in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Şuşa MKT's Müşfiq Sadixov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacy Drapinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Kowalski took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Räsul Äsädli. Räsul Äsädli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Şuşa MKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilyas Yusifov to maneuver through the defense. Barca Lech's Bartosz Babicki got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmund Kowalski scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Räsul Äsädli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Müşfiq Sadixov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmund Kowalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Müşfiq Sadixov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ignacy Drapinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartosz Babicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Sahib Qurbanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Kowalski to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's goalkeeper Ignacy Drapinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müşfiq Sadixov. Räsul Äsädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Kowalski in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's Bartosz Babicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Räsul Äsädli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmund Kowalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Räsul Äsädli was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Kacper Weyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Räsul Äsädli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Kowalski's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Eyvazov.
