In the 2nd match minute, Şuşa MKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sahib Qurbanov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Westerland FC booed when Şuşa MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camal Daşdıyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müşfiq Sadixov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ede Süßmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westerland FC's Ede Süßmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müşfiq Sadixov in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Westerland FC's Tim Metzner got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes, Klaus Carstensen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westerland FC and the Şuşa MKT players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Şuşa MKT booed when Westerland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Carstensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ede Süßmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müşfiq Sadixov in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Şuşa MKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilyas Yusifov to maneuver through the defense. Müşfiq Sadixov scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ede Süßmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahir Eyvazov in the 45th minute of play forced Westerland FC's goalkeeper Ede Süßmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şuşa MKT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Thilo Bopp scored to the left of an out of position Räsul Äsädli, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Mahir Eyvazov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ede Süßmann having to make a save. Müşfiq Sadixov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Ede Süßmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thilo Bopp in the 63rd minute of play forced Şuşa MKT's goalkeeper Räsul Äsädli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Mahir Eyvazov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Raphael Hoersch took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Räsul Äsädli. Räsul Äsädli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ede Süßmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir Eyvazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Westerland FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ede Süßmann, was totally fooled by Şuşa MKT's Ilyas Yusifov, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 91 minutes into the match, Westerland FC's goalkeeper Ede Süßmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müşfiq Sadixov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Müşfiq Sadixov got free with Ede Süßmann in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raphael Hoersch might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Räsul Äsädli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Hoersch ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Şuşa MKT booed when Westerland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthasar Hinkler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Ilyas Yusifov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ede Süßmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 99 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Şärif Daşdıyev. Raphael Hoersch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Räsul Äsädli having to interfere. Westerland FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
