Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ermis Vasilomichelakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ailill Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paschalis Valassis in the 7th minute of play. Giorgos Salpiggidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caimin McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Ermis Vasilomichelakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 24 minutes of play, Kilmaley AFC's Brenda McBrand made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Salpiggidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vaggelis Siafakas made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fivos Kolokithopoulos. Vaggelis Siafakas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaggelis Siafakas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Caimin McWill fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giorgos Salpiggidis, passed just outside the right post. After 37 played minutes Kilmaley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Berkley Bayes. Caimin McWill struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Giorgos Salpiggidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilmaley AFC. Paschalis Valassis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ailill Moran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paschalis Valassis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caimin McWill made a kick off. Brenda McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kilmaley AFC's Berkley Bayes suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Stamatis Fragos's late challenge caught a Kilmaley AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stamatis Fragos helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Α.Ο. Σύρου FC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Fragos. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Giorgos Salpiggidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caimin McWill in the 65th minute of play. Α.Ο. Ermis Vasilomichelakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 played minutes Kilmaley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baran Quinnless. Giorgos Salpiggidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caimin McWill in the 73rd minute of the match. Caimin McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Manos Valkanis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kilmaley AFC's Ailill Moran. Ailill Moran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Ailill Moran managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Ermis Vasilomichelakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brenda McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Brenda McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Kilmaley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brenda McBrand couldn't finish the play. Vaggelis Siafakas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ermis Vasilomichelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ailill Moran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC played a much better game than Kilmaley AFC and deserved their victory. The Kilmaley AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
