Jarlath Moran started the match with the kick off. Mahir Eyvazov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bree McDecland hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarlath Moran in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Räsul Äsädli saved Şuşa MKT from getting behind. Scott Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahir Eyvazov in the 16th minute of play. Scott Mulvihill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mahir Eyvazov's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sheskinapoll's zone, Şärif Daşdıyev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Mulvihill came out of the goal and Şärif Daşdıyev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarlath Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Räsul Äsädli having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blake Dempsey during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Blake Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahir Eyvazov might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scott Mulvihill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahir Eyvazov ran back to his position shaking his head. If Müşfiq Sadixov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Scott Mulvihill successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Müşfiq Sadixov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Scott Mulvihill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Sheskinapoll got a freekick which was hit by Blake Dempsey. The audience was convinced that Mahir Eyvazov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Scott Mulvihill was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahir Eyvazov made a kick off. Müşfiq Sadixov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mahir Eyvazov might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scott Mulvihill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahir Eyvazov ran back to his position shaking his head. Müşfiq Sadixov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Mulvihill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mahir Eyvazov's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jarlath Moran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Räsul Äsädli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Şuşa MKT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
