Astralis FC's Tzolo Pisarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sahib Qurbanov in the 10th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Astralis FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Zammit. In the 21st match minute, Şuşa MKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şärif Daşdıyev to maneuver through the defense. Şuşa MKT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin Levet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 39 played minutes Şuşa MKT got a freekick which was hit by Badı Cäfärli. Şuşa MKT's Räsul Äsädli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Şuşa MKT from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Hu Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Räsul Äsädli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Şuşa MKT's Sahib Qurbanov got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Hu Jian Yi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astralis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. If Erwin Levet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahir Eyvazov to strike the kick off in the second half. When José Carlos Pascuala fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astralis FC's protests and gave José Carlos Pascuala a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Astralis FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Pascuala. After a defensive mix-up in Astralis FC's zone, Müşfiq Sadixov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzolo Pisarski came out of the goal and Müşfiq Sadixov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hu Jian Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Räsul Äsädli having to interfere. In the 55th minute Erwin Levet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Räsul Äsädli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sahib Qurbanov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Şuşa MKT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sahib Qurbanov to maneuver through the defense. Hu Jian Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Räsul Äsädli having to interfere. Räsul Äsädli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hu Jian Yi went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Astralis FC's goalkeeper Tzolo Pisarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilyas Yusifov. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Hu Jian Yi sped through Şuşa MKT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Räsul Äsädli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Levet in the 85th minute of play forced Şuşa MKT's goalkeeper Räsul Äsädli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Erwin Levet made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Şuşa MKT's Räsul Äsädli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Astralis FC's Dániel Kinizsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Räsul Äsädli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Erwin Levet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Räsul Äsädli was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Räsul Äsädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Levet in the 95th minute of play. Astralis FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Şuşa MKT for a fine match.
