Ailill Moran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brannagh Bayes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ailill Moran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Begg Duggan in the 11th minute of the match. Caimin McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Ramsey having to interfere. Kilmaley AFC's Ailill Moran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Kilmaley AFC from getting a goal against them. When Caimin McWill came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kilmaley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caimin McWill couldn't finish the play. Bannon McNamee kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 26thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kilmaley AFC's keeper Ailill Moran was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ros Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caimin McWill in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Kilmaley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Begg Duggan came free, but Ailill Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ros Ramsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caimin McWill's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Caimin McWill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ailill Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannagh Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brannagh Bayes to make the kick off. Ailill Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bannon McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 55 minutes, Bannon McNamee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabhran Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bannon McNamee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Kilmaley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenda McBrand to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Caimin McWill in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Berkley Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Braeden Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Hewney Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ros Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caimin McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Braeden Jameson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilmaley AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gabhran Utd the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Kilmaley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braeden Jameson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kilmaley AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Brenda McBrand hit a great ball. Kevion Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Bradaigh McJohnny in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kilmaley AFC's Braeden Jameson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bannon McNamee in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ailill Moran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bradaigh McJohnny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ailill Moran. Kilmaley AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Brenda McBrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ros Ramsey made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gabhran Utd had played much better football throughout.
