Räsul Äsädli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Vasilomichelakis in the 6th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute of the match, Mahir Eyvazov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giorgos Salpiggidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Müşfiq Sadixov fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şuşa MKT's protests and gave Müşfiq Sadixov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Α.Ο. Σύρου FC booed when Şuşa MKT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Müşfiq Sadixov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mahir Eyvazov 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Ilyas Yusifov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Räsul Äsädli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamatis Fragos's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Şuşa MKT's Räsul Äsädli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermis Vasilomichelakis in the 45th minute of play. Räsul Äsädli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manos Valkanis in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahir Eyvazov was the one to do the kick off. Paschalis Valassis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Räsul Äsädli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Xätai Dünyamaliyev hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Räsul Äsädli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paschalis Valassis went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes Α.Ο. Σύρου FC got a freekick which was hit by Manos Valkanis. A collision led to Şuşa MKT getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Badı Cäfärli hit a great ball. Ermis Vasilomichelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Räsul Äsädli having to interfere. Müşfiq Sadixov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Salpiggidis having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lambros Pountidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Räsul Äsädli. That made the score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. Räsul Äsädli was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Manos Valkanis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manos Valkanis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Räsul Äsädli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ermis Vasilomichelakis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
