Sheskinapoll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Matthews in the 53rd minute. The corner led Sheskinapoll's Alfred Matthews to fire away a dangerous shot which Ede Süßmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Hoersch got free with Scott Mulvihill in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
