The supporters of Kisher FC booed when Α.Ο. Σύρου FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Fragos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kisher FC's Berdoi Salvadores got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kisher FC were furious when Lopez Herrasti was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Lopez Herrasti hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Babbis Tsalouchidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Koldo Junyent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Hernando Aedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes of play, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Stamatis Fragos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Koldo Junyent was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes, Babbis Tsalouchidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Α.Ο. Σύρου FC and the Kisher FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Α.Ο. Σύρου FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kisher FC's goalkeeper Koldo Junyent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Kisher FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Ester. Darien Espino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Babbis Tsalouchidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Tsalouchidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute of the match, Frascuelo Pradias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giorgos Salpiggidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frascuelo Pradias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Giorgos Salpiggidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neron Mediavilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Salpiggidis having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neron Mediavilla to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Manos Valkanis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Koldo Junyent. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 61st play minute Paschalis Valassis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Koldo Junyent. 1-4. In the 64th minute Ermis Vasilomichelakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koldo Junyent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ermis Vasilomichelakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kisher FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hernando Aedo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Stamatis Fragos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 72nd minute, Ermis Vasilomichelakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Kisher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Valkanis came free, but Koldo Junyent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Kisher FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Uriszar to maneuver through the defense. Koldo Junyent acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Babbis Tsalouchidis. Akis Paraschakis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Ermis Vasilomichelakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Koldo Junyent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
