In the 2nd minute, Bruno Capello made a precise shot to the right of Ain Averin. FC Dundee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 5 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Kaido Jaas came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Trip's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Los Trip from getting a goal against them. Bruno Capello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ain Averin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Capello, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Agustín Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hardi Lind went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Arvo Kena came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaido Jaas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Los Trip's Cipriano Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Kaido Jaas came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Capello in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ain Averin saved FC Dundee from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Verner Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CJ Asensio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arno Luuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Luuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Luuk in the 71st minute of the match. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Luuk in the 74th minute of play. Guido Arujärv got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edvin Hargi. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Luuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ain Averin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Cipriano Castro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ain Averin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ain Averin having to make a save. Ain Averin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Arno Luuk made the kick off and play began. 105 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Calderón De La Barca notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Dundee's Ain Averin. Ain Averin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
