In the 9th minute, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 11th minute of play forced GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalkeeper Ivan Katalinić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ defense, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Katalinić. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Katalinić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Katalinić having to make a save. Ivan Katalinić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ivan Katalinić came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by KIA KAHA's Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos. But to his dismay, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The supporters of KIA KAHA booed when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Coleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Katalinić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kazimir Vrebac's late challenge caught a KIA KAHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Katalinić. Ivan Katalinić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After the first half KIA KAHA were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zachary Parzysz was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ defense, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Katalinić. Daniel Glanselius scored 0-12 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Katalinić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Katalinić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Daniel Glanselius sped through GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Katalinić. Daniel Glanselius might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Katalinić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Glanselius ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Katalinić was a little too slow when Daniel Glanselius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-14. KIA KAHA's Daniel Glanselius got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 99 minutes into the game, Ibrica Madunić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIA KAHA the free kick. Ibrica Madunić kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
The GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KIA KAHA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
