The corner led F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Savaş Lütfi to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Ubarna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Bora Ersal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavino Ubarna, 1-0. Joélson Laguna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stojmen Tujković having to make a save. Stojmen Tujković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Laguna in the 19th minute of play. The FISHBONE 06 fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when FISHBONE 06's Joélson Laguna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Alejo Cucao put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Ubarna. If Joélson Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Rasmus Højlund started the play with his kick off. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Branimir Bajrić stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stojmen Tujković. 4-5. The referee gave F.C BEŞİKTAŞ a penalty, 140 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fryderyk Gajewski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FISHBONE 06's Gavino Ubarna. 5-5. In the 143rd minute there was a penalty for F.C BEŞİKTAŞ. Bora Ersal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gavino Ubarna. 6-5. Elvir Bešimović succeeded in the game's 144th minute to get real power on a long shot . F.C BEŞİKTAŞ's Stojmen Tujković hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 6-6! The referee gave F.C BEŞİKTAŞ a penalty, 145 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Murat Uzalp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FISHBONE 06's Gavino Ubarna. 7-6. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C BEŞİKTAŞ fans cheered their team off the field, for while FISHBONE 06 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
