Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孔桦珂, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joachim Mager who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Honung's corner Joachim Mager fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiu Chuan Ran quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when 孔桦珂 came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Wennersten was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Honung fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Aristide Beșliu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Raimundo Ventura. But to his dismay, Raimundo Ventura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 25th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Lixandro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Beșliu saved Honung from getting behind. In the 28th minute, 孔桦珂 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 孔桦珂 scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Aristide Beșliu threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Faria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raimundo Ventura took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Beșliu. Aristide Beșliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Raimundo Ventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Beșliu having to interfere. The supporters of Honung booed when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiu Chuan Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔桦珂 in the 45th minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Alfredo Piermattei got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-3. 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Honung's King Puck was substituted for Juan Manuel Vargas. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by King Puck in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was King Puck who took care of the corner kick. In the 66th minute, Gonzalo Lixandro made a precise shot to the right of Aristide Beșliu. Honung's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Aristide Beșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Santiago Macena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honung the free kick. Simon Lertora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Qiu Chuan Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristide Beșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Simon Lertora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Lertora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Honung's Li Ang got a free kick in the 85th minute. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Israel Carvalhal got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristide Beșliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 89th minute of play. Honung's Aristide Beșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 96th minute of play.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. had won after a very even match.
