Santos Vigil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Felipe Cresenciano fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SASSUOLO CALCIO's protests and gave Felipe Cresenciano a yellow card for diving instead. Constantino Kauldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Sadurni in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Leon Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Frisia AFC fully deserved thier win.
