After some careless play in the La Cosa Nostra defense, Ladislao Erramu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Delfino. The La Cosa Nostra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Delfino should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Hodge. Ladislao Erramu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Delfino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 51 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Bizen came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Marciano Bizen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Sosa. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Bizen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 82nd match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Martxel to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Lauro. After 100 minutes of play, Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Vikingos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vikingos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
