The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Dorian de Lima successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Mazhar Ismail put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dorian de Lima. Dorian de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farouk Gameel in the 13th minute of play. Bolton Wanderers's Khalil Besheer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Seco in the 18th minute of play. If Farouk Gameel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Abdel Wahab Fadel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorian de Lima. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Abdel Wahab Fadel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Bolton Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Seco came free, but Khalil Besheer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renegados's Dorian de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar Ismail in the 37th minute of play. Abdel Wahab Fadel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian de Lima having to interfere. Mazhar Ismail was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Bolton Wanderers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Romário Seco made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bolton Wanderers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Osama Walid hit a great ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Farouk Gameel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Renegados's Dorian de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bolton Wanderers's Khalil Besheer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Seco in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Mazhar Ismail cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dorian de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 66 minutes, Mazhar Ismail managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Ismail was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khalil Besheer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Seco's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Abdel Wahab Fadel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dorian de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Mazhar Ismail made a precise shot to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 79th minute, Mazhar Ismail left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolton Wanderers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 83rd minute, Rafael Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mazhar Ismail came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bolton Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazhar Ismail couldn't finish the play. Bolton Wanderers's Mazhar Ismail got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osama Walid kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.

There was no doubt that Bolton Wanderers were the better team. Bolton Wanderers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
