Micael Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micael Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Baudelio in the 26th minute of the match. Quirce Bodelon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 33 minutes Malpaso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Quirce Bodelon who took care of the corner kick. Osvaldo Baudelio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Micael Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malpaso. Xavian Naranjo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavian Naranjo ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vytautas Kalasiūnas was the one to do the kick off. Samir de los Caños's Micael Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Samir de los Caños from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Samir de los Caños's Clemente Alarcon got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Malpaso's Bonifacio Gaueko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Malpaso booed when Samir de los Caños was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gelacio came out of the goal and Falo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
