The corner was taken by Dennis Contaldi in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Aðföng Dalvík's Hjörvar Einarsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aðföng Dalvík's goalkeeper Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson. After 20 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Hermes. Heilmóður Alexandersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Toninho Moreira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Hjörvar Einarsson came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson saved Aðföng Dalvík from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Antônio Carlos Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aðföng Dalvík's Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Bueno's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The corner ended in Dennis Contaldi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aðföng Dalvík's Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson did a great save. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Contaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mjölnir Vilhjálmsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Hjörvar Einarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AF CERRADO had played much better football throughout.
