In the 16th match minute, Capdevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Orlin to maneuver through the defense. Terceirense F.C.'s Gentil Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Máximo Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 31st minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Pastor Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Gentil Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Aleksander Kapera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Kapera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Valery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Omar Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Omar Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Capdevilla made a substitution. Carolo Christobal replaced Filomeno Hitz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gentil Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. Gentil Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Valery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gentil Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gentil Setúbal came free, but Pastor Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Ur in the 91st minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Ur in the 96th minute of play. The Terceirense F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
